The first title in a lavishly illustrated series, Gardener’s journey: winter, will mark Make Books Australia’s entry into the fascinating world of gardening. The series will explore the potential and bounty that can be drawn from a modest suburban garden.
Gardener’s journey: winter will explore both potential for food production, and floral colour, that is possible through the coldest months of the year. In the veggie patch a key area of interest will centre round the Brassica family. While floral colour will, among others, include exploring the intriguing world of the hellebore, and late-winter flowering bulbs.
